Cricut is a leading brand of smart cutting machines for crafting and DIY projects. I designed a high-converting landing page for their product launch, showcasing the product range, highlighting key benefits, and guiding customers toward purchase with an engaging, user-friendly experience.

RESEARCH

GETTING TO KNOW CRICUT & ITS AUDIENCES

  • Learned about the four Cricut products, compared key differences between the machines, and identified the target audience for each model.
  • Researched the target audience and found that Gen Z are primarily visual learners who prefer images and videos over lengthy text. This insight informed a more visually driven content approach for the landing page.
  • Reviewed Cricut’s existing style guide to ensure brand and visual consistency throughout the landing page.
  • Educate customers about the products and drive engagement within a limited amount of page content.

USER PERSONA

CREATING FOCUS

I created a user persona to better understand Cricut’s target customers, their goals, and their pain points. This helped me design a landing page that speaks directly to the users’ needs - from explaining the product benefits in simple terms to addressing common questions and motivating them to make a purchase.

FINAL DESIGN

  • Chose feature images that demonstrate how each product is used, helping customers grasp its purpose instantly.
  • Added an ‘Endless Possibilities’ area to spark user inspiration and showcase creative project ideas.
  • Added a short video near the 'Add to cart' button to help customers understand the product and motivate action.
  • Included product names on accessories to clarify compatibility and prevent misunderstandings.
